Research: My research centers around a group of tumor-specific proteins known as Melanoma Antigen Gene (MAGEs). The focus of my project is to elucidate the role of MAGE-A5, -A8, and -A9 in cancer by:
Studying cancer-associated signaling pathways that are modulated upon the expression of these three proteins.
Determining the protein binding partners of all three MAGE proteins to better understand their biological function.
